Aspects managed by the Morrow "Environmental Health and Safety Program" include:

  • general safety rules and responsibilities
  • hazard recognition and mitigation
  • safe work procedures and policies
  • site safety plans
  • training and orientation
  • employee supervision
  • regular inspections

At Morrow, we demonstrate our commitment to employee health and safety in a variety of ways:

  • Morrow has a detailed health and safety program and verifies the training of all employees, particularly new employees, in the implementation of the program.
  • All field staff are trained in the proper selection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and a respirator protection program is in place.
  • All technical staff conducting field work have received Level 1 first aid training and are equipped with a basic first aid kit.
  • Morrow supports external training in health and safety, which may include: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS); certification under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Regulation (TDG); and OSHA Health and Safety at Hazardous Work Sites.
  • All subcontractors employed by Morrow are aware of and must meet our corporate standards and comply with our health and safety program.
