Environmental Compliance Monitoring
Morrow provides ongoing stormwater and compliance monitoring at over 50 client industrial sites in Western Canada. These facilities include bulk petroleum storage facilities, refineries, service stations, and railway maintenance facilities. Activities can include discharge sample collection (e.g., separators) and managing environmental permits. Morrow has also completed projects for several municipal districts to characterize the stormwater in numerous drainage catchments.
Hazardous And Regulated Building Materials Assessment Services
Morrow has a team of US EPA Certified Building Inspectors ready to conduct Hazardous and Regulated Building Materials Assessments.
Environmental, health and safety regulations require that hazardous and regulated building materials be identified in buildings and structures, especially if demolition or renovation activities are to occur. Proper worker and public protection procedures and strict waste disposal measures are mandated for a number of hazardous and regulated building materials, including:
- Asbestos Minerals
- Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs)
- Lead Paint
- Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS)
- Flammable, Toxic or Explosive Substances
- Urea Formaldehyde Foam Insulation (UFFI)
- Molds
- Radon Gas
Environmental Health & Safety Compliance Auditing
Serving various industries throughout Canada, Morrow has conducted hundreds of environmental audits to identify areas of non-compliance with environmental, health and safety standards and regulations. Morrow also has in-house Certified Environmental Auditors (CEAs) who are qualified to audit at operating industrial facilities against compliance and ISO 14001 requirements including components of fire and worker safety.
